Ikelian Camp

Ilkeliani Camp is a boutique luxury tented safari camp located along the Talek River in Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve. It is designed for travelers seeking a quieter, more intimate safari experience while remaining close to excellent wildlife areas. The camp overlooks open Mara plains and sits in a riverine setting where elephants and other wildlife frequently pass.

• Location: Talek River area, Maasai Mara, Kenya. 

• Setting: A private river glade surrounded by indigenous trees, overlooking wildlife-rich plains. 

• Nearest airstrip: Ol Kiombo Airstrip. The transfer from the airstrip to camp is approximately 25 minutes by vehicle. 

• Access from Nairobi:

  • By air: Nairobi Wilson Airport → Maasai Mara airstrip (about 45–60 minutes flight, depending on routing).

  • By road: roughly 5–6 hours from Nairobi, depending on road conditions.
