Ngerende Island Lodge is an exclusive luxury safari lodge located in the privately managed Olchoro-Oirugua Conservancy, bordering the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The lodge sits on an oxbow of the Mara River, offering a secluded wilderness experience with abundant wildlife and exceptional river views. Location

  • Distance from Nairobi:

    • Approximately 250–280 km by road (5–6 hours depending on conditions)

    • Around 45–60 minutes by scheduled or charter flight to Ngerende Airstrip, followed by a short transfer to the lodge.
