Ngulia Safari Lodge

Ngulia Safari Lodge is one of Kenya's oldest and most iconic safari lodges. Perched dramatically on the Ndawe Escarpment within Tsavo West National Park, it offers panoramic views of volcanic plains, wildlife-rich valleys, and on clear days, Mount Kilimanjaro. The lodge opened in 1969 and is operated by Kenya Safari Lodges & Hotels Ltd.

The lodge sits on the edge of an escarpment overlooking the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, giving guests spectacular sunrise and sunset views. 

History

Ngulia Safari Lodge was built in 1969 during the early development of Kenya's national park tourism infrastructure. It became famous for:
