Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Uganda (Entebbe International Airport) & transfer to the Hotel
Arrival in Uganda where you will find the company representative dedicated to offer you a courteous welcome. The amazing weather and brightening atmosphere on the shores of Lake Victoria give you a remarkable first impression of Uganda. After briefing about Uganda and the safari, you will connect to the respective hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight

Day 2: Do Jinja tour; visit the Mabira forest, Ssezibwa falls & Source of the Nile
Jinja exploration – the famous source of the Nile River. You visit the Sezibwa falls with impressive scenery and rich culture attached to it is thought that the river was born, undertake a forest walk in Mabira for magical flora and bird watching, visit the snake park in Jinja which contains the range of reptile Species and undertake a soothing boat cruise to the source of the Nile. Retreat from the encounter and connect to the lodge for overnight

Day 3: Transfer to Sipi Area and hike the Sipi falls
After breakfast, drive to Sipi falls in the east of Uganda. The drive takes you through the beautiful eastern Uganda landscapes featuring lovely wetlands and swamps before approaching the extensive rice plantations that have made this region the hub of Uganda’s rice. You drive through Mbale area and proceed to Sipi for lunch. In the afternoon, you embark on the Sipi falls hike for sight-seeing experience. Enjoy the impressive scenery as you hike to the falls including the sights of Elgon Mountain and the plains of Karamoja. The Sipi falls present a lovely flow of water and a good site for photography. Return from the activity and connect to the lodge for relaxation and overnight

Day 4, 5, 6 & 7: Adventure climb to Mount Elgon following the Sasa Trail
Day 4: Climb from Budadiri to Sasa Camp (2.900m)
Connect to Budadiri (1250 m) close to the town of Mbale at the entry of Mount Elgon. You arrange all the mountain climbing equipment and the logistics such as camping gear, water and food. In the company of the porters and guides, you embark on the adventure climb traversing the foot hills of Mount Elgon until you settle at Sasa River Camp (2.900 m) to mark the day break. On this hike, you cover 8km.
Day 5: Climb from Sasa camp to Mude Camp (3.500m)
Depart the campsite and embark on the climb through the forest up to Mude Cave Campsite where you will rest for dinner and overnight. The day’s trek covers 5km.
Day 6: Climb from Mude Camp to Wagagai Peak (4321 m) and descend back to Mude
Embark on the ascend to the main Wagagai peak that rises to 4,321m above sea level. You summit Mount Elgon the fourth tallest mountain in East Africa. The trek to the top exposes you to impressive moorland zone with lush mountain flora. Descend back to Mude campsite for relaxation, dinner and overnight. You cover a distance of 18 km trek.
Day 7: Descend from Mude back to Budadiri
After breakfast, embark on the descend back to Budadiri to mark the end of the adventure mountain climb.
Day 8: Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, embark on a drive back to Kampala.
