Tanzania 2 Days 1 Night Safari – Selous Game Reserve / Nyerere National Park

Your day begins with a hotel or airport pick-up in Arusha or Zanzibar and transfer to Arusha Airport for a morning flight to Selous Game Reserve, a journey of approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge or camp, which is located inside or near the reserve, offering immediate access to wildlife viewing. After settling in and enjoying lunch at the lodge, the afternoon is dedicated to your first safari activity. Depending on your preference, you will embark on a guided game drive through the southern parts of the reserve or enjoy a boat safari along the Rufiji River. The boat safari allows close encounters with hippos, crocodiles, and elephants gathering along the riverbanks, while also offering superb bird watching opportunities. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation, with the option of a night game drive if available.
